Session Information

Location
Portrait sessions can be scheduled for the location of your choice including your home, park, etc. When scheduling an outdoor session, please know that I reserve the right to reschedule if necessary due to inclement weather. Additional travel fees may apply for locations greater than 30 miles from Troy, Michigan.

What to Expect
Because I am a natural light photographer, sessions will usually be scheduled in the morning or late afternoon for optimal lighting conditions. Please allow one hour for your session, especially when photographing children. It is important for children to be relaxed and comfortable, so plenty of time is allowed for feeding, changing, or taking breaks.

What to Wear
Solid colors work best. Try to avoid any patterns or branding as these look very distracting in photographs. When photographing families or groups, I recommend that you try to coordinate colors. Comfort is crucial, especially for children. Feel free to bring a favorite toy, blanket, etc. for your child. When photographing children, please bring an extra change of clothes.

Proofing
Your portraits will be proofed and available for viewing within two weeks of your session. I will let you know when your proofs are available and give you online login information to view them. In the alternative, your prints may be delivered in print form of 4 x 6 images. Your portraits will remain available online for ordering for a period of one week. After one week the gallery will be removed but can be re-uploaded at a later date for another one week period. A re-listing fee of $25 applies for this additional gallery period. All images will be kept on file for one year from the session date.

Policy
Prior to your session, you will be asked to sign a model release form for yourself and/or any minor children, as well as a Copyright notice and Client Information form. It is highly recommended that you thoroughly review these forms and ask questions if necessary.
